Hey everyone,

Here’s the skinny on what is going on with Toledo Unplugged.  I was working at a place that was media related and thus I had to keep my opinions moderated.  That made posting difficult.  I’ve since switched jobs and things have stablized.  So the plan is to microblog during the week and podcast on the weekends.  So of those of you want to follow the microblog here’s URL: http://identi.ca/toledounplugged

  • Holy moly, we had our first podcast and man was it bad. This was an interview with Chad Quigley.  It was bad because I was so nervous and distracted by the VOIP lag. I need to check my computer and see what is up with the lags. Thank you again Chad for putting up with me.  The inteview was mainly about what’s happening with Chad’s home and his views about the direction and Toledo’s city council is going in. Gizmo Project was used to make and record the call.  Audicity was used to edit and encode the podcast. What happened to ToledoUnplugged.com?

I know I promised to have some content on this site months ago.  Unfortunately, life happened.  About the time I was planning on starting this podcast my father entered the final stages of cancer and passed away.  A couple of months later I started a church, something I have been planning for 4 years.  A few weeks into the starting the church my grandfather entered in the final stages of his cancer and sundower’s disease (a specific form of alzheimer’s.)  Somewhere in there was also work, deleting blog spam, spending time with my wife, training our dogs, and sleeping.

Well things have settled down a bit so I thought it would be a good time start this project back up. I’m looking for people who would be willing to do interviews.  I have few shouts out but I need more.  Otherwise it will just be me rambling.

FYI: I’m getting rid of the theme music for now.

  • Hello to all my homies! If that doesn’t make me sound white as a whale, I don’t know what will. Anyways I’m take 2 vacation days off (not that I’m getting burnt out or anything) to unwind a little. So what that does that mean? It means I can FINALLY get my first podcast out.
